Arizona has the most amazing sunsets. This one was captured just out front of my house after a monsoon had blown threw. The photo really doesn’t do justice to the surreal colors that we get here.
Real Estate Virtual Tours
While photographing Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels for International Hotel Group (IHG), I had the opportunity to hone my skills at producing virtual tours. A virtual tour is the best way on the web to give a viewer a really good feel for what a property looks like. A viewer can see everything around them: above and below, right, left and even behind them, as if they were standing there looking around. The technology I perfected for super high quality Holiday Inn tours can be used for most residential property very cost effectively. Here’s an example of a VR tour for a moderately priced home in Phoenix, AZ.

How can you not love Arizona sunsets and beautiful Scottsdale property? This house at 6601 E Mockingbird is being represented by William F Wisniewski of Realty Unlimited, is one of those homes that you just say “wow”.
Hospitality and Resort Photography
One of my favorite projects this year was traveling throughout the southwest for International Hotel Group who owns the Holiday Inn Brand. For the relaunch of the chain they needed photos of all the hotels in the chain updated. I was one of a team of 40 photographers throughout the US photographing the properties. I travelled throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Texas photographing their various properties. There were binders full of information about how the properties and rooms are supposed to look prior to the photos being taken. I’ll never look at a hotel quite the same way. Here are just a few of my favorite images from the tour.

Liora | Father’s Day Photoshoot
Liora is our very adorable next-door-neighbor. Her mom, Robyn, came up with this great idea to do a father’s day photoshoot. Robyn made large cards that spelled out “DAD” with one letter on each card. We all headed over to the Desert Horizon Police Park at 56th street and Paradise lane in Scottsdale and had Liora hold the cards up. It was probably over 100 degrees and she was such a trooper. After we got the money shots, we took a few extra photos just for fun. Enjoy!

Favorite Wedding Photos
I’ve been working on converting from a flash website to a wordpress blog site for a little while now. It’s really enlightening to see how blogging/twitter/facebook have changed the way we communicate. It wasn’t that long ago that fancy flash website was a requirement. Now, well, people want something more real, more immediate. In a world where we are so disconnected facebook, twitter and blogging bring us back together.
Anyway, I had all these random photos that I used in the original flash site from weddings and shoots that I’ve done over the years. I thought I would share them with you. The first photo is from my cousin Scott’s wedding in the late 1990′s or early 2000′s. Lauren is sitting at a table waiting to sign the ketubah, the Jewish contract for marriage, and her parents are behind her looking at each other and smiling. It was the first magical moment that I ever captured in an images and it helped to cement my love of wedding photography. I guess I was uncle bob at that wedding, the guy with the camera getting in the way of the hired professional, which is never something an aspiring photographer should do. I ended up making a beautiful handmade album for them. I hope they enjoyed it, I certainly did.
